THAILAND PASS

Travellers who are fully vaccinated from 63 countries are eligible for exemption from quarantine.
(List of countries below Application Process)

Once your admission has been approved and your treatment fee is settled, The Dawn will issue a Booking Confirmation for your THAILAND PASS application

You are now ready to proceed with your travel arrangements

Requirements for THAILAND PASS and entry into Thailand

  • Passport (with Visa for countries that need one to enter Thailand) 
  • Medical insurance –  indicating that the insurance covers all medical expenditures including COVID-19, and worth at least USD 50,000. Certified insurance packages are available at http://covid19.tgia.org/ 
  • Certificate of valid vaccination indicating details of the names and dates of both first and second vaccination (and booster dose if applicable). Vaccination date should be no less than 14 days prior to your travel date.
  • The Dawn Booking Confirmation
  • Flight Confirmation details 
  • RT-PCR Test with Negative Results — issued within 72 hours before departure

Application Process for the THAILAND PASS

1. Before Departure

THAILAND PASS registration requires online submission of:

  • Passport Copy
  • Medical Insurance 
  • Flight Details
  • Vaccination Certificate
  • The Dawn Booking Confirmation  

Once your application has been approved, you will receive an email with your QR Entry Code or THAILAND PASS ID. Print or download it and present it along with proof of your Vaccination Certificate to Airport officers and immigration upon entering Thailand.

2. On Arrival in Thailand

Required  documents to present at Immigration

  • THAILAND PASS QR Code 
  • RT-PCR Test Results
  • Certificate of Vaccination 
  • Official Booking Confirmation of The Dawn

3. On Arrival in Chiang Mai 

Once you arrive in Chiang Mai (transit via Bangkok)

  • A member of The Dawn will pick you up at the airport and  escort you to a hospital for an RT-PCR test before bringing you to our treatment centre.  
  • Thai  Government regulations  require you to remain in your room at The Dawn till the RT-PCR test results are confirmed negative. (results take overnight)*
    (in the case that you test positive we will admit you into a hospital)
