His extensive credentials include Attachment Focused EMDR (AF-EMDR) certification and recognition as a Certified Mindfulness Informed Professional (CMIP). He holds both a Master’s Degree in Counselling and Psychotherapy Practice and a First Class Honours Degree in Addictions Counselling.

With 17 years of clinical experience in addiction and trauma treatment, Alan has served in senior roles at several established institutions including Promis Clinic and Clouds House. His expertise spans all levels of care including detox, primary, secondary, tertiary, virtual, and aftercare treatment services. As a current Senior Psychotherapist at The Dawn in Thailand, he manages complex dual diagnosis cases and coordinates trauma-focused programming.
