The Dawn hosted the ICAR (International Colloquium on Addictions & Recovery) Conference from September 9th to 11th 2017. The three-day event was held by ICARO (International Consortium of Addiction Related Organisations) at the Duangtawan Hotel in Chiang Mai. ICARO is made up of international organisations to provide an educational platform to train people in the field of addiction.
ICARO members gather at these events to develop better quality care and education to help with prevention, treatment, and rehabilitation for people battling substance abuse disorders in Southeast Asia.
During the conference, The Dawn also sponsored a Recovery Walk to demonstrate the collective effort of all participant countries to fight against addiction and raise awareness.
